How can I reconcile our SDS library with our products in use?

SDS Manager recommends doing this at least once a year — more often if your chemical inventory turns over quickly. There are two ways to walk through it:

1 Physical inventory walk

Tour your site and for each product you find, open its SDS and click Log presence of product 1. If you've added EAN/UPC codes, you can locate the right SDS faster by scanning the barcode instead of searching.

2 Photo-based walk

Photograph product labels with the Camera feature as you go, then review the photos later from the SDS Request page. For each one, choose "Find SDS," search your library (optionally limiting results to SDSs you already have), and either click "Log presence" if you find a match or "Add to SDS library" if you don't.

3 Clean up what's left

Use location filters to spot SDSs with no logged activity in a while, and move those to Archive — see archiving chemicals you no longer use.
