There's no built-in "expiration date" field, because expiry rules vary too much between organizations — instead, you define your own using a custom field:
- In Manage SDS Library, open Personalized view → Custom fields, and click "+" to create a new field
- Create a Date-type field named "Expiry Date" (see creating custom fields for exactly where that option lives)
- The field is now available on every SDS in your library
- Open any SDS's detail page, hover over the new Expiry Date field, and click the pencil icon that appears to set a date — the same hover-to-edit pattern used everywhere else (see editing the product name)
Once set, go to "All Our SDS" to list every SDS whose expiry date falls within a date range you choose — useful for a quarterly or annual compliance sweep.
