What does the 'Update' button on the SDS Detail page do?

It's easy to confuse with replacing an SDS, but it does something different: SDS Manager periodically improves how it reads and extracts data from SDS PDFs, and the Update button re-runs that extraction against the same underlying document you already have.

Important: this does not upgrade you to a newer revision of the SDS. If your supplier has actually issued a new version, that's a different action — see replacing an SDS with a supplier's updated version or keeping SDSs up to date instead.
