How do I connect Cursor Desktop to SDS Manager?

This is one example of connecting an MCP-compatible AI tool to your SDS library — the same pattern works for other MCP clients too. It's a two-part setup: something you do in Cursor, and something you do in SDS Manager.

1 In Cursor (Windows)

1. Go to Settings → Tools → Add new MCP Server
2. Add this configuration:

3. Go back to Settings → Tools and activate the SDS Manager MCP tool

2 In SDS Manager

1. Go to User Management and open the 3-dot menu for the user you want to enable this for
2. Activate MCP access for that user
3. Go to Manage Account → Chat AI Agent and copy the token shown there
4. Paste that token into Cursor's AI chat when prompted

This feature is only available to paid customers on the Pro plan or higher — the MCP Server Access panel under Manage Account stays collapsed/inactive until your plan and admin permissions both allow it.
