How do I review and approve the PPE suggestions on my SDSs?

From the PPE Approval page, three tabs split the work: Pending Only, All, and Reviewed, plus a Location filter so you can work through one site at a time. Each row is one product, showing what PPE it already has recorded (from extraction) alongside what the detection engine additionally suggests:

  • <b>Suggested new PPE</b> — click an icon to approve it individually; a green check shows it's been accepted
  • <b>Suggested controls</b> — the same click-to-approve pattern, for ISO prohibition-sign style controls (for example "no naked flames")
  • <b>Accept all / Reject all</b> — per-row bulk actions, for when you agree (or disagree) with every suggestion on that product at once

Hovering any suggested icon (rather than clicking it) shows a "Triggered by" tooltip quoting the exact H-code and/or P-code text from the SDS that caused the suggestion — for example "H319 Causes serious eye irritation" plus "P280 Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection." That's the fastest way to sanity-check a single suggestion without leaving the row.

For a full audit trail across every analyzed product at once, the Show details about data behind the detection button (top right) opens a table with one row per SDS, showing exactly how the engine got there: H-codes extracted directly from the SDS text versus H-codes it additionally inferred, the resulting H*/H/S/E/D ratings, and PPE broken out as extracted / derived / new, plus a Changes column. It's the same underlying logic as the per-icon tooltip, just laid out for every product in your library at once rather than one row at a time.

The status bar at the top of the page (pending / reviewed / total with suggestions / analyzed) gives a running count — "analyzed" is every SDS the engine has looked at, "total with suggestions" is the subset where it actually found something to suggest, and the difference between the two is usually just SDSs with too little hazard text to generate a suggestion from.

Note: accepting or rejecting a suggestion changes what's shown to every employee on that SDS's detail page, so treat Accept/Reject as a real decision rather than something to click just to explore the page.
