How do I import a spreadsheet of the chemicals we use?

If you already track chemicals in Excel or a CSV file, import the whole list in one go from Import Product List on your dashboard:

  1. Prepare your Excel or CSV file
  2. Set up any custom fields you want to track (internal codes, hazard categories, storage conditions, etc.)
  3. Open Import Product List from your dashboard
  4. Match your spreadsheet columns to our fields — including your own SKU and ERP system ID
  5. Review the matched data and confirm the import

The import screen itself walks you through it as a short two-step wizard 1 — a template file is linked right there if you want to see the expected columns before you start, and you can run it more than once if different departments send their lists separately.

  • 1 Continue — advances to step 2, matching columns

Once SDSs are matched to your products, export your library back out any time, complete with a permanent link to each Safety Data Sheet — handy for feeding straight back into your ERP, or for generating a QR code on purchase receipts your own customers can scan.

Kept mostly as-is — this one held up well. Tightened the wording and moved the entry point to match the current dashboard (Import Product List tab, not a separate wizard page).
