What organization-wide settings can an admin control?

The account-wide Settings page (reachable from the profile menu) has a full page of on/off toggles beyond the ones covered elsewhere in this FAQ (SDS Approval, Automatic SDS updates, and AI functions on risk assessment each have their own dedicated answer already). Here's what the rest of them do, confirmed directly from their own tooltips:

 • Show chemical tracking QR codes on secondary container labels — adds a second, separate QR code to secondary container labels that links to a chemical-usage tracking form, so employees can scan it to log how much of a chemical they're using at the location level (individual bottles or packages can get their own uniquely-identifying tracking label too)
 • Employee SDS search — global database fallback — when a QR/app search doesn't find a match in your own library, this shows results from SDS Manager's full global database alongside it, so employees can still find safety information for something you haven't added yet; turn it off to restrict search strictly to your own company library
 • Allow employees to request Safety Data Sheets to be added — lets anyone who scans a QR poster submit a request to add a missing SDS, just by entering their email — no login needed; pairs with the search fallback above, since a "+" appears right on the global search results to request that exact SDS be added
 • Default imported PDF files to Private — every SDS you upload is added to SDS Manager's shared global database by default (searchable by other customers, but never shown as originating from your organization); this setting makes new uploads default to "Private" instead, so they're excluded from other customers' searches entirely
 • Require External System Id on all SDSs added to library — makes an internal ERP/product-code field mandatory whenever someone adds an SDS, useful if you're syncing your library against an ERP system and need every SDS cross-referenced with a matching ID
 • App access for QR users — by default, anyone who scans your QR poster can use the SDS Manager app to download every SDS linked to it; turn this off if you'd rather keep your chemical list confidential and restrict app-based access to users who log in with an email and password
 • Automatic SDS Translation — a paid add-on for multilingual workplaces: when someone scans a QR poster set to a specific language, key sections (First Aid Measures, Fire Fighting, Accidental Release, and more on request) are automatically translated into that language, even if the underlying SDS is only in English. It's billed by the number of translated, in-use SDSs per year, and has to be turned on by SDS Manager support rather than toggled here directly

Below the toggles, a separate Custom emergency agency section lets you override your country's default emergency number with your own — the number you set there replaces the default in the app and on generated labels. Further down are shortcuts to the SDS Approval flow, the notification email address for SDS updates, a Private restricted list, and the Exposure/Risk Analysis/Integrations sections covered elsewhere in this FAQ.

To turn Automatic SDS Translation on or off, contact SDS Manager support directly at support@sdsmanager.com — per the tooltip, this one isn't self-serve.
