SDS Manager 6 new2 improved5 fixes

Un-archive SDS, approval flow per location, and a dashboard up to 30× faster

New features

  • Un-archive SDS: Admin users can now restore an archived SDS directly from the archived substance detail page, with a confirmation dialog and automatic redirect to the restored record.
  • Approval flow per location: Locations can now be configured with their own approval flow settings, and sub-locations automatically inherit the settings from their parent location.
  • SDS print label: PPE icon description text can now be shown on the print label, with a new option to show or hide it before printing.
  • Risk Assessment change log: All actions taken on the Risk Assessment (7-point) tab are now recorded in the change log for full audit traceability.
  • Inspection Readiness: Account owners can now upload their written Hazard Communication program (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)) directly from the Inspection Readiness page. The file can be downloaded, replaced, or removed at any time.
  • Account Settings: Organization country and billing country are now separate fields, with a "Same as organization" checkbox for convenience.

Performance & improvements

  • Dashboard performance: The dashboard now loads up to 30× faster for accounts with large inventories (20,000+ SDS) — previously 30+ seconds, now near-instant on repeat loads.
  • Settings & Account page: Various UX improvements, and corrected subscription statistics shown on paid plans.

Bug fixes

  • SDS library export: Fixed an issue that prevented some customers from exporting their SDS library.
  • Exposure module: Fixed an incorrect dialog label, improved slow loading when opening the module, and the executor field is now saved correctly. Also resolved a number of issues with form validation, display, and state handling.
  • Dashboard loading: Removed a duplicate data request on dashboard load that caused slower initial loading.
  • Import status page: "Duplicate substance" entries are no longer incorrectly shown as Failed, and when replacing a failed upload with an SDS-Binder file (containing multiple SDSs), the original entry now correctly updates to "Replaced".
  • Automatic SDS translation: This option is now correctly available on paid plans only. Trial users attempting to enable it will see a message that autotranslation requires a paid plan.
